"Most of the time we hardly take more than a pint. They sleep right through and when they wake, they think they've fallen ill. It's only messy if they struggle. Some of them wake, you see. If they look you in the eye, you can control them, but if they don't, if they struggle. Well, they don't always survive then. It doesn't happen very often, believe me. I wish it didn't happen at all. The thing is, you always have to clear it up. You don't want half the town getting the idea that there's a vampire around, now do you? Heh. It makes you sick having to drink that much in one sitting. And you wouldn't believe how hard it is to get eight pints of blood out of a carpet before dawn."

Another doodle.

I'm quite pleased with this one, the perspective actually came out alright. It occurred to me that I hadn't really illustrated much of the horror element of "Fangs" in the pics I've posted, so I thought I'd have a bit of fun and rectify that. References used: my hand, a few stills from the "Vampirology" episode of Urban Gothic (such as [link]) although I mainly looked those up to oggle the guy who played Rex. Rex is a sexy chappy.

Notice also that the vampires from "Fangs" don't suddenly get massive eyebrows when they attack someone! *not a fan of vampire movies too far removed from folklore.*

I might do some more stuff of Vlad being "bad", it's way too much fun.

I like how the blood stands out so much and the various blood stains on the wall clearly show a struggle. Very nice, I need to practice with blood in the future.
