Todd de Sang, meet perspective.
"Well hi there Perspective, what are you up to right now?"
"Oh not much, just making your left hand and your purple platform boots look enormous"
"But my boots are already enormous"
"Well, there you are then"

Another character from "Fangs" (yep, Vlad and Angie don't exist in a vacuum y'know, I thought I'd start introducing you to some more of the disturbed Transylvanian denizens ;)), this is Todd de Sang, a French-German vampire fashion victim living in Romania ever since his parents abandoned him to travel the world when he was just under a century old. Todd, along with his on-and-off girlfriend Necritia Alucard (a distant relation of the tyrannical Dracula family), is Vlad's best, and possibly only friend. Unlike Vlad, Todd is loud, brash, cheerful and excitable, but his passion is fashion. Every few years he comes up with a new "look" and parades around night clubs looking faintly ridiculous under the mistaken belief he's the vampire equivalent of David Bowie. But despite his pretensions, Todd is open, loyal and resilient, if a bit mad.

God alone knows what the look he's sporting in this doodle is. "Death Rock Attention Whore"? "80s Transvestite Goth"? Who knows?

Crappy watercolours, pencil and biro. Drawn at half three in the morning because I'm overworked and overlazy and wanted to draw something outrageous.

Also I'm sulking because I can't find my fabric pen and I wanted to write pithy slogans on some new t-shirts. Mmmyep. I'm done now.

you should paint background and pale colors first an then character and dark colors.

Yeah I know but I'm lazy. I don't usually plan to paint them, I start off drawing them and then paint them afterwards because I get bored with drawing. Besides, I like dark-ish backgrounds. Besides, watercolours screw me over, they almost always bleed into one another if I put two colours too close. With acrylics, I do backgrounds first. I really hate watercolours actually. I don't know why I use them so much.

watercolors are not good. They're aren't density. It's not my style

Exactly. I use them to add colour to quick doodles but I don't generally use them for big pieces.

Thanks! Isn't he just a total riot? I really want those boots. I love platforms. I own soooo many platform boots, can't walk in most of them though.
