My first ever photoshop drawing! :D I thought while I was getting the hang of the tablet I'd draw a few more Fangs characters, since I was meaning to do something with them anyway.

This is Muffy Winters. Muffy is a popular, if rather bullying, girl from the same village as Angela, who left a few years previously to go to the city where she got a job as a weather-girl. When a mistake on air costs her her job, Muffy searches for another way to fulfill her craving for fame. Her grandfather, dying of lung cancer, provides the answer: Muffy Winters is a vampire slayer. Her grandfather, William "Chill" Winters, was also a slayer and had, one hundred years previously, orchestrated one of the largest slayings in Europe, culminating in the destruction of two vampires in a nearby castle, but rumours remained of a child. Muffy plans to finish what her grandfather left off, if he was telling the truth that is, and then sell her story to the press.

Only a certain vampire Count with a vendetta against her and his gothic girlfriend stand in her way...

Excuse the name, when I first drafted the novel out it was largely parody, so I had a little dig at "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" since I seem to be the only horror fan on the planet that doesn't like it. When I rewrote Fangs the name stuck, it suits her very nicely.

Drawn entirely in photoshop with my lovely lovely wacom tablet. Muffy Winters, Vlad de Lupina, Angela Batty and all other things related to "Fangs" belong to me.

that's a very nice finish to your art.

Thanks. I'm pretty chuffed with it for a first go. It makes colouring so much easier, I hate colouring normally.

I don't remember hardly any of your pictures having colour. I can't wait to see Necritia in colour ;)

I sometimes use watercolours to colour, or just lots of red marker, but on paper I prefer black and white, it's cleaner and I find it easier to do, unless I'm using acrylics, that is. I love acrylics. I need more canvases.

Necritia's gonna be boring in colour though, the only part of her that's not black or white is her scar. I should design more colourful characters.

But with the wacom the colouring in will be so much cleaner than on paper. And looking at the recent work, it looks goooood :)

:D Thanks. yeah I agree with you. It's a lot easier to do shading and little details like eyeshadow with the wacom and photoshop's lovely brushes.
